Okay, so maybe these signs aren’t scientifically proven or perfect 100% of the time, but who doesn’t enjoy a little guessing game?
Let’s pretend for a moment that there’s no such thing as an ultrasound. What are the signs you’re having a boy and how accurate are they? Admittedly, there’s a 50% chance of being right whatever you guess.
Believing some myths can be harmful, for both the mother and baby while some are harmless fun. Never do anything that contradicts your doctor’s medical advice.

#1 Are you carrying high or low?
This is one of the signs most people are familiar with. Boys are carried low while girls are carried high. There doesn’t seem to be any medical reason for this. It’s just the way it is.
#2 The color of your pee.
Apparently, you can tell whether it’s a boy by the color of your urine. The darker it is, the higher your chances of having a boy.
#3 The sweet and sour test.
Another alleged claim to carrying boys is that you prefer savory tastes to sweet ones.
I suppose this comes from the notion that all girls love sugar. If you have no particular preference? Maybe you’re having twins!
#4 Cold feet.

Women who are pregnant with boys usually have bad circulation, which leads to cold feet. Why mothers of boys have this problem is as yet unknown
#5 The Chinese birth chart.
This birth chart was found in a royal tomb and is supposed to date back 700 years. According to the chart, if the result of the month you conceived and your age is an even number you’re having a boy. Try the gender predictor here and find out what you’re having.
#6 Heart rate.
Supposedly, a boy’s heart rate is under 140 beats per minute while a girl’s is higher. Ask your doctor for your baby’s heart rate and you may have a good idea of what you’re having.
#7 Round belly.
Your belly is more likely to look like you’re hiding a basketball under your shirt than actually being pregnant. When having a boy, your weight gain is centered around your belly. If you’re having a girl, your whole body becomes round, especially your face.
#8 Swing a ring.

Take your wedding ring and attach it to a string then hold it above your belly. If the ring moves in a circular motion, you’re having a boy! Apparently.
Have any of the m0ms or soon-to-be moms reading this tried any of the methods above to tell their baby’s sex? Do you know any other tell tale signs we may have missed? Let us know in the comments section.
